I’m a Cambodian-American designer from Northern Virginia, just a short drive away from Washington DC. I currently live in Pittsburgh where I study design, the science of how people think, and the many overlaps in between. I design experiences to tell stories, empower people, and bring the world a little closer together.
My notable achievements:
My work was showcased and saw the light of day at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum as part of an Accessibility and Inclusion Design gallery.
I found and baked a chocolate cake recipe that was delicious!
I'm a first-generation college student and excited to graduate (soon)
Thanks for stopping by! :)
"The quality and scope of her work was quite frankly more than I had expected from an intern given only 2 months on a project in a field they knew nothing previously about; Her work ethic and discipline was stellar and her enthusiasm and demeanor was contagious. Carolyn took initiative to improve things far beyond what was requested. I noticed this in every iteration of the product; they were always miles ahead of the earlier iteration. She carried the attitude of 'always try your absolute best even if you don't have to'."
